Solar Design Engineer (m/f/d) | Wesel, Germany

About the role:

As an international Solar Design Engineer (m/f/d), your role will be to project manage the delivery of commercial, industrial and utility scale solar / BESS assets, covering the commercial and technical aspects from contract signature, through delivery to commercial handover.

Your duties will include:

  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, contractors, to maintain the highest standards of H&S and Quality on projects
  • Drive EPC activities and deliverables (Design, Procurement, Construction), chair regular team meetings and ensure minutes and actions are issued
  • Manage contractual obligations and project timelines
  • Financial management of projects and approvals of invoices
  • Effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders regarding the project(s) needs and goals
  • Support Soventix’ process for enhancing best practice methods, valuation processes, knowledge management, internal tools & templates

Your Profile / Our Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • You have a proven track record of project management with experience in grid connected solar projects during the construction phase
  • You can work remotely & independently and be self-motivated within a supportive & collaborative company
  • You can balance quality in the context of time & cost pressure.
  • Adept at building strong, cooperative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to successfully reach project realization
  • You have a proactive and diligent approach
