With 233.7 MWp of solar PV and a 123 MVA/527 MWh battery energy storage system, the project combines more than 357,000 solar modules, installed in a fixed east west orientation, and 180 battery containers. Construction was completed in just 16 months, with commercial operation beginning on 12 August 2026. Since then, the facility has been supplying 30 MW of firm, continuous power to Kamoa Copper S.A.
